Save Mt. Diablo's Lot #25 property
Date: 04/04/17
Time: 9:00 am
What we are doing:

April 4th is Save Mount Diablo's project day and they have requested we weed whip the property on lot 25.  We did it last year and almost finished, leaving some of the flat area to George and his mower.  If you recall, the lot is bordered by a slope and a creek so weed whipping is a necessity.

It is my understanding that there will be 9 machines in working order.  These are COMERCIAL weed/brush cutters that do a great job and are fun to run.  Ideally, if all machines are running and 12 or more volunteers show up we can rotate operators about every 45 minutes, the time it takes to use a tank of gas.  This will reduce the fatigue factor of the operators.

TIME:  9:00 TO 3:00

LOCATION:  Lot 25, off Regency Dr. in Clayton.

Parking is limited at Lot 25  so lets meet at  the Park-N-Ride located on Marsh Creek Rd. and the corner of Peacock Creek Rd.

DIRECTIONS: From Walnut Creek go East on Ygnacio Valley Rd.  Right on Clayton Valley Rd. Continue on Marsh Creek Rd.  Left on Peacock Creek Rd.  The Park-N-Ride is on the right corner.

WEAR:  Long sleeve shirt, long pants, work boots or sturdy shoes, hat. [helmets, eye and ear protections will be provided]

BRING: Plenty of  water, lunch, sun screen?, gloves.  Not sure about the weather so layer up.

Good health,
